BEAUTY!

Another wonderful evening battling on the field of breeze for the Mudhead Wednesday Night Fleet.  With 49 boats registered, the fleet is beginning to show off it's strengths and weaknesses.  Repeat winners in Race 4 include Quantum Leap, Jolly Mon and Wild Horses.   In class 2, the J's and the Evelyns fight it out with Swiss Cheese and Ursa Minor sparated by 1 second.  Cheese took it this week, but Ursa is starting to show her usual form.
            Zig Zag Zoom takes the gun for fleet honors  and Class three.  Eclipse, with Meg running the boys, grabbed this weeks holy grail in the hotly contested battle of the Melges 24s.  Wild Horses and Black Ice continue to entertain in their weekly duel, trading the lead back and forth around the 5 plus mile course with Horses prevailing on the final upwind leg.  Meanwhile the J-109s look to each other for their private idaho challenge.
            And now, onto the rain and Block Island!  Bring your seat belts for the 76th Annual Off Soundings Spring Series June 14-15.  Check the website for the latest update.
