The Mudhead Racing Schedule has been posted and Wednesday Night Racing begins on May 20, 2009 with the first gun at 1755.  We will race 15 straight Wednesdays with the final race of the season on August 26th.  NORs and entry forms will be available by April 1st.   This season we plan to race 7 races in the Spring Series and 8 races in the Summer Series with the best 10 races counting toward the overall class championships.  There is no make up date.   The WNRS Awards Dinner is scheduled for September 9th.

The 3rd Annual Mudnight Madness Overnight will be sailed under a bright moon and fireworks on Friday evening, July 3rd with start at 1800.   Once again, the course is out the race, around Cerberus and around Block Island (navigator's choice for direction) then back around Cerberus, in the Race and finish at Ram Island bell. 

The Mudhead Benefit Cup for Hospice SECT is set for the weekend of July 17 & 18, 2009.  Skipper's gather Friday night under the tent at Mystic Shipyard on July 17 and the racing takes to the water on Saturday.  We have big plans and several racing circles in the works.  The Regatta Committee has been meeting since before Christmas and we suggest you get prepared for the Event of the Season.  It's all about the party Saturday night with Rock N'Soul Revue providing the dancing fool fun.  Raffles, Auctions and a great cause will make this a weekend to remember.  Oh, did I mention...THE ENTRY FEE HAS BEEN WAIVED this year in lieu of your hard work in raising money for Hospice of SECT.  So, fill out your calendar and make your plans today.
