Three events will capture your attention this September. The 3rd Annual Mudhead Golf Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, September 3rd at Pequot Golf Club, Stonington, CT We have a shotgun start at 12:30 for a best ball scramble. Get your team of four together and take an afternoon to chase that white ball across the lush greenery along the shores of the Thames River. Details and entry form right here.

    The same night, The Race to Nowhere is scheduled. It’s free, it doesn’t cost anything and it doesn’t count. First gun is 1755 in the usual Wednesday night starting area. Last year’s winner, Commodore Pat Dillon will be running the race from Quantum Leap. Details right here.

    The Annual WNRS Awards Dinners is set for Wednesday Night, September 12th at Captain Scott’s Lobster Shack in New London. Lobster and burgers with open bar and the prize giving for the hard fought Wednesday Night Series always make this a highlight event of the Mudhead summer.
